The Lord Mayor presented the concept plans of Thomas Street upgrade in Chinatown recently as part of the 2010 Chinatown Public Domain Plan which outlines ten projects for improvements to streets and public spaces in the next ten years. The Thomas Street upgrade is the second stage of the Plan.
“Chinatown is one of Sydney’s jewels. It is a big part of our city’s cultural life and our plans for Thomas Street will make the area even better for the thousands of people in the area each day,” Lord Mayor Clover Moore said.
