The celebrations continued in Haymarket on Saturday 29 October with the City of Sydney’s “Sydney Streets” program seeing parts of Dixon, Hay, Little Hay and Sussex streets closed to traffic and replaced with stalls and entertainment from 10am-10pm.
Roving performances and buskers formed the festive atmosphere throughout the entire day. featuring a diverse mix of lion dancing, stilt walkers, drummers and other musicians, bubble fun for kids, and hula hoop dancing for everyone.
It was wonderful to see people out and about in Dixon Street and the surrounding area, enjoying the sights of Neon Playground and frequenting local businesses.
