Building Sydney’s Transport Future

Sydney Light Rail construction is gearing up across the Sydney CBD. Light rail will build a positive future for businesses in the community with improved access throughout George Street for shopping and dining experiences, tourists, visitors, and Sydneysiders commuting.

Construction of light rail near Haymarket is across five zones and is due to commence from June 2016 in the zone known as Zone 8 – on George Street between Bathurst and Liverpool Streets.

ALTRAC has been contracted by Transport for NSW to build and deliver the new light rail network.  ALTRAC in the coming weeks will commence their engagement with local businesses and residential buildings around their local access requirements.  There will be challenges ahead to keep Sydney moving during the construction and we are here to assist businesses and residents in the area with support available.
