2016 marks HCC’s 10th Anniversary a landmark year for HCC and Haymarket’s 3000 businesses and 16,000 residents. HCC continues to grow year by year thanks to the tremendous volunteer leadership of our HCC Executive team, HCC Members, HCC sponsors; City of Sydney, Westpac, Events Cinema George Street, Chinatown Friday Night Markets and Market City.
A decade ago a few local Chinatown business owners gathered regularly and realised the benefits in working together and creating a network to support each others businesses which eventually became the Haymarket Chamber of Commerce. Today one of HCC’s original co-founders, George Wing Kee remains a key leader on HCC’s Executive team with second generation Peter Wong, led by HCC President Simon Chan, Jessie Xiao, Brad Chan and Executive team; Jonathan Wong, Linda McCreath, Richard Hughes, Anthony Keirann, Peter Bannister, Stephan Wan, Eva Law, Ryan Tian.
