The Chamber held its 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and end-of-year dinner at the Eight Restaurant on Tuesday 5 December 2023.
There were 10 nominees for the Chamber’s Executive Committee and all 10 nominees were successfully elected to the Committee by members. They were Brad Chan, Simon Chan AM, Ruby Cheung, Richard Hughes, San Koh, Vincent Lim, Serena Tran, Jonathan Wong, Jessie Xiao, and Yvonne Young. The Executive Committee then met, and the following office bearers were re-elected for another term from Dec 2023- Dec 2024:
President– Vincent Lim
Vice President – Ruby Cheung
Secretary – San Koh
Treasurer – Jonathan Wong
Public Officer – Richard Hughes
Committee Members – Simon Chan AM, Brad Chan, Jessie Xiao, Serena Tran and Yvonne Young.
The Executive Committee would like to thank all members for the trust that members have placed in them. The Committee is confident that, with the support of all Chamber members, they will be able to continue to discharge their duties and responsibilities diligently, and in the best interests of the Chamber and its members at all times.
The AGM was followed by a Chinese banquet open to all. The evening was a most enjoyable one and we would like to thank our special guests, City of Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore AO and Deputy Lord Mayor Robert Kok, for their attendance. We would also like to thank The Eight Restaurant and all their staff, our wine sponsor, Millon Wines, and all our lucky draw prize donors.
