On 30 July 2024, Haymarket Chamber of Commerce and Community Bank Darling Square co-hosted a networking evening and panel discussion on the Commonwealth’s Veteran Employment Program highlighting how ex-service people can bring enormous expertise and highly sought-after skills and experience to our businesses and organisations after they leave the defence force.
What a great evening it was, and we would like to thank Repatriation Commissioner Kahlil Fegan DSC AM as our guest speaker and moderator, and our panellists Tom Nguyen, Angela Green, Bill Skandalakis and Craig “Dallas” Delaney for sharing their insights and experience with us. We are also grateful to the VEP transition branch director and assistant director, Jacqueline Vials and Emily Galbraith respectively, and Paula Masselos of Embrace Society for their attendance and for helping us make this event possible.
