Sydney School of Entrepreneurship’s Free Startup Success program for startup founders and small businesses (7 Aug 2024 – 11 Sep 2024)

July 19, 2024

Haymarket Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share with you a special opportunity for startup founders and small business owners to enrol in the Sydney School of Entrepreneurship’s Startup Success Sydney program which consists of a series of 6 weekly online and in-person workshops supported by the City of Sydney.

The 6 workshops (2 in-person and 4 online workshops) will be held between 7 August 2024 and 11 September 2024. There is no charge for this program, but applicants must have a personal or commercial connection to the City of Sydney local government area.

The Sydney School of Entrepreneurship (SSE) is a not-for-profit organisation delivering bespoke educational experiences and skills training to promote self-determination and remove barriers to employment and entrepreneurship for more Australians.

The Haymarket Chamber of Commerce is pleased to have been selected by SSE as one of its program partners along with Business in the Peninsula (Pyrmont+Ultimo+Darling Harbour).

Whether you are at the start of your entrepreneurial journey and have an idea you want to explore, or you are already in business and looking to build your customer base or better understand how to leverage networking or access funding, you will find a workshop to suit.

The program workshops include:

  • Small Business Startup
  • Test your Business Idea
  • Structuring your Small Business Startup,
  • Building a Customer Base
  • Finance, Funding and Risk, and
  • Present Your Small Business Startup.

This 6-module program has been specially designed to give participants access to a range of educational and skills-based business resources, and to facilitate and enable networking between and exposure to other startups.

As each workshop is completed as a stand-alone module, each comes with its own industry-accredited microcredential which is issued to participants at successful completion of the workshop.  However, if you complete all 6 modules, you will also receive a special ‘master’ accreditation and your Startup Success Master badge.
