Come join us for the 2026 Sydney Lunar Streets festival on Saturday, 14 February 2026 from 5 pm – 10 pm in Haymarket. This is the annual launch event of Sydney Lunar Festival (14 February – 1 March 2026).
From Chinatown to Thaitown, the laneways of Haymarket will light up for an unforgettable street festival to usher in the Year of the Fire Horse.
There will be lion dances, DJs, street food, markets, traditional and contemporary performances. See this year’s Fire Horse installation rise over Dixon Street and roam under the canopy of lanterns on Hay Street.
