March 28, 2025
From art galleries to political chambers, Asian communities are challenging Asian stereotypes and demanding greater representation in all aspects of Australian life. Join hosts, Haymarket Alliance and Soul of Chinatown, and the panel of Jenny Leong MP, art curator Yin Cao, Councillor Michelle Chuang, DEI trainer Adrian Phoon, and architect Eddie Ma (as moderator) as they explore their careers in politics, art and business and how they have changed the landscape for Asian representation in Australia. What barriers remain, and how can we build a more equitable and representative landscape in Australia?
Date: Tuesday, 1 April 2025, 6 pm – 8 pm
Location: Haymarket HQ, 2/63 Dixon St, Haymarket.
