With the support of Multicultural NSW and funding from the NSW Government, the Chamber hosted its first event at Darling Square, Haymarket, with the help of Lendlease and Darling Square Community Bank. Crowds on the day were wowed by performances by Tamara Guo, Chinese opera duo Gabrielle Chan and Michael Quan, dance group Sydney Street Unit, Jow Ga Kung Fu and the ever popular lion dance.
