As part of this year’s 2025 Lunar New Year celebrations, our Chamber member Blank Gallery will be hosting an exhibition entitled “LET’S EAT” at 17 Valentine St, Haymarket, from Thursday 16 January (opening night 6-9 pm) until 17 Feb 2025.
The exhibition explores the significance of food and the deep-rooted traditions of communal dining within Asian cultures, especially during the Lunar New Year period. Across Asia, shared meals during this festive period symbolise unity, prosperity, and the renewal of familial and social ties.
Exhibiting artists include Andrew Yee, Chris Yee, Leanne Xiu Williams, Yayoi Takita, Louis Lim, Ria Desiree, Ian Tran, Peiwen Kwang, Erin Lee, Estelle Yoon, Natalie Naksila, Kenny Yong-soo Son, Anthony Hinton, Steffie Yee, Fan Yi Qi, Art Vandelay, Linda Chen, Jacqueline Bui, Felix Saw and Maria Thaddea.
This is definitely an exhibition not to be missed. Admission is free.
