CBD AND SOUTH EAST LIGHT RAIL UPDATE 21 AUGUST 2015

In preparation for the new CBD and South East Light Rail, early works on roadways will be continuing to take place by both the project’s Managing Contractor (Laing O’Rourke) and PPP Contractor (ALTRAC Light Rail).

 

The upcoming works and those currently taking place along the alignment are as follows:

PPP Contractor Works – ALTRAC Light Rail

CBD – 23 August to 11 September 2015 (night time work)

Eddy Avenue, Rawson Place and Pitt Street intersection
Sunday 23 August to Friday 11 September 2015 NB. On Sunday 23 August works will start from 5pm to minimise saw cutting activities to the first night of work.
Night time works: Sunday to Wednesday 8pm to 5am Thursday nights 9pm to 5am

CBD – 17 July to 17 September 2015 (day and night time work) – ALREADY NOTIFIED

All roads will remain open during mid week night works with limited localised traffic management in place to assist motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. Access to buildings, driveways and pedestrian footpaths will be maintained.
