Sydney’s Chinatown will be up in lights for a one-of-a-kind street festival of art, lights, music, community & food from 15 October – 20 November 2022. Experience Dixon Street like you’ve never seen it before!
Businesses and community representatives from across Chinatown are invited to our third and final Neon Playground by Chinatown community meeting prior to its launch.

The City of Sydney team will also provide more information about the Sydney Streets event being held on 29 October 2022 when parts of Dixon Street, Sussex Street, Little Hay Street and Hay Street in Chinatown will be closed to traffic and transformed by the City of Sydney into spaces for walking, shopping and dining, with roving entertainment.
The Haymarket Chamber of Commerce is excited to be one of the five organisations collaborating on delivering the Neon Playground festival. Led by Haymarket HQ, the others in the Neon team are Soul of Chinatown, Basalt Studio and Bespok3.
