This year’s Asia Panel 2018 focused on Australasian leadership with panel speakers Ming Long, Chairperson, AMP Capital Funds Management Ltd, Dr Geoff Raby, Former Australian Ambassador to China, Andrea Ho, Regional Director for Planning Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Karen Soo, Partnerships and Program Director, Diversity Council Australia.
The panel session explored each of the panelists’ respective experiences, focusing on the challenges and opportunities which they encountered throughout their career paths. Also, they highlighted the Australian cultural values that impede cultural diverse leadership in the workplace.
With more than 70 guests, moderated by HCC President Simon Chan, the session drew an insightful and engaging discussion with the panel speakers sharing their varied experiences, perspectives about their passion for change, culture and the ambition to succeed whatever the obstacles.
