Haymarket Chamber of Commerce and Chinese Australian Forum would like to invite you to a free Civics & Media Literacy workshop at the Sydney Central Hotel in Haymarket at 6 pm on Wednesday 30 April 2025.
This informative workshop will be delivered by Professor Wanning Sun of University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and it will cover the following topics:
1. How Australian democracy works.
2. How to participate in the democratic process.
3. How to identify misinformation in the media.
Are you ready to upskill your understanding of democracy in Australia so you can engage meaningfully in our democratic process? Are you also ready to learn how to navigate information in the media to make informed decisions?
If so, join us for this most timely workshop, which is a community initiative by Chinese Australian Forum (CAF) supported by the Australian Government’s National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.
