Warmest congratulations to our Haymarket Chamber of Commerce member, Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney, on its official opening on 13 October 2025.
Special guests at the ribbon-cutting ceremony included City of Sydney Deputy Lord Mayor Jess Miller, Hyatt Asia Pacific Group President David Udell, and Linus Zhang, representing the property owner, LFG Group. Haymarket Chamber of Commerce was represented by our President, Vincent Lim.
Located in the heart of Haymarket at 13 Parker Street, the 174-room hotel blends community-first hospitality, tech-enabled convenience, and locally inspired design to create a dynamic space where travellers and locals can connect. The hotel team is led by General Manager Temara Exton, who brings over 20 years of international hospitality experience across the United States, Asia Pacific, and Australia.
Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney’s collaboration with local artists Chris Yee, Hiromi Tango, and Samy Baby is a wonderful example of how international brands can celebrate local identity.
